John T Ruffennach

John T Ruffennach, 77, passed away on July 12, 2012. John was born on September 24, 1934 to Joseph and Margaret Ruffennach in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vienam war and continued to serve for 20 years. John met his wife, Yaeko while stationed in Japan with the Air Force. They were married on May 14, 1963 After retiring from the Air Force, the family settled in Sacramento, California where John started a second career with the Sacramento Sheriff's Department. John moved to Colorado in 2005, just before the birth of his first grand-daughter where he enjoyed fishing, making new friends, and spending time with family. He is survived by: a son James Ruffennach of Sacramento, California , a son, John Ruffennach and wife Laura, and two grand-daughters, Jennifer (6) and Emily (3) of Fountain, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his wife, Yaeko, parents, and siblings: Robert, Joseph, Dorothy, Margaret, and Charles.

Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 16 at 1:00 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 1201 Leta Dr, Colorado Springs, Colorado. A graveside service will be held in Fair Oaks, California.
