John Roger Vergo, 84 passed on to heaven on April 17, 2022, Easter Sunday in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born October 27, 1937 in Chapman, Nebraska to John and Nell Vergo. He is survived by his brother Ron (Marcia) Vergo, Lois Fullington, his children Tami (Kenny) Nielsen, John (Dolores) Vergo, and Steven (Kathie) Vergo. His grandchildren Jason (Jaime) Cipriani, Justin (Tiffney) Cipriani, John Ray (Michelle) Vergo,Tarah (Chris) Ruff, Tanya Vergo, Kayleigh (Jess) Marquez and Steven Ross (Ashley) Vergo. Great Grandchildren Bellina, Logan and William Cipriani, Jeremiah and Marissa Vergo, Margot Ruff, Aela Marquez and Louis Vergo.
Predeceased by his parents and his brother Clarence Vergo.
In his younger years Roger spent a lot of time outdoors water skiing, snow skiing and hunting. In recent years he enjoyed spending time at his ranch in Westcliffe.
His true love was his family and leaving a legacy for it through JEM Communications.
We all have great memories of playing cards, watching Nebraska football, Bronco football and listening to his stories.
He will be greatly missed!
