

Upon entering elementary school, she began going by the “Americanized” name Josephine, and had her name legally changed as soon as she was of age.
Josephine attended High School, and Community College in Bridgeport before entering into marriage to Francis (Frank) Albert Charity on 6 March, 1945.
From that union, there were 3 daughters: Joan, Linda, and Aileen.
In 1953, Josephine, Frank, and the 3 girls, moved from Bridgeport to San Diego, California in search of employment. Josephine and Frank soon found work in the flourishing aircraft industry and purchased a home in Clairemont, CA, a NE San Diego suburb.
Josephine retired from General Dynamics in 1987, but continued to work at various jobs until her move to Colorado in 2006.
In 1954, Josephine first heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ and made her choice to follow in the way that Jesus taught. She was faithful in her service ever after, and was a great inspiration to so very many. She was always ready and willing to talk of her love for the Gospel, to anyone that would listen.
Josephine passed from this world to be with God and His Son, on November 5, 2012 at the Life Care Center in Colorado Springs. She is survived by: Her twin sister Anita, her younger sister Florence; 3 daughters, Joan (Bill) Kaler, Linda (John) Musial, Aileen Woerth; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.
