When we got the call on Sunday our hearts were broken. My husband Eugene has worked with Josh for the past 4 years. They quickly became good friends and I am proud to call him my friend too. He had such a great smile and great work ethic. My husband so enjoyed working with him and learned so much from him. They loved fishing together and had some great times on the lake. I pray for Josh's family at this time. He was a wonderful person and will be dearly missed by all.

I am shocked, saddened and at a loss for the right words. I met Josh about 4 years ago thru work. I always enjoyed talking to him about shooting, fishing, family and general BS. He always had a smile. We always shared a laugh about something. His smile and attitude did light up the room.
When I'd see him at my job I'd holler Hey Josh! He'd respond, What's up Mr Jim. Then he'd give me a fist bump. 
I'm going to use that in his memory... less handshakes, more fist bumps!

I haven’t spent much time with Josh recently. He’s my step brother! I remember when he still lived in Mississippi he came and saved me from an abusive relationship and I couldn’t of been more thankful for him! He came down to visit not too terribly long ago and I’m so thankful I got to see him! He was very strong willed and always a joy to be around! Until we meet again, brother!

I lost my son at a very young age and he left two small children. You stepped forward and gave them guidance for their 'growing up' 
years, accepting them like your own.  There were ups and downs, but for the most part you always had your grin and could light up a room with your good attitude. You encouraged me with my illness and helped me with your daughters in our girls' club. It's hard when a strong, healthy young man is taken too soon. It brings up a lot of memories throughout the years. I am thankful to have known you and glad to have shared Summer, Winter, Dylan, Ethan and Isabelle with you. Rest in peace my friend, from Grandma Janice.


I've known Josh close to 10 years now & to me, Josh was a great friend and confidant. Outside of work we had many conversations about life, goals, dreams & plans for the future. My 2 sons & I had some good memories with Josh, shooting and riding ATV'S. Josh once told me that his ultimate goal was to ensure that his kids were set, & then he would buy an RV & travel the states. Josh & I worked side by side for years, over the past 3 I became a project manager. I always respected Josh & it was hard for me sometimes to draw the line between boss & friend, even when I would call Josh about work, it always got differed to a great conversation.  Josh always told me thank you for always having our backs  and making things right. That's 1 thing that always made me feel good about being a boss. Josh was by far 1 of the most diverse highly skilled craftsmen I've ever known. There will never be another Josh.I  will forever hold your memory to a higher standard BRO! Much love & respect always!

I've known Josh for almost 8 years.  He arrived at TECC Painting Company in May, 2011 and has worked to the best of his abilities up to the Saturday before he died.

Josh is Spiderman, Superman, and Toolman, all rolled into one.  He is dedicated to his family, his friends,  his job, and to whatever fishing hole he's sitting at the moment.   His smile brightens up the room.  He is always positive, always cheerful, and is always willing to share his incredibly vast toolbox of knowledge.

I say that Josh "is", and not "was".  He is missed, he is loved, he is always going to be a constant presence at TECC Painting, and is always going to be a part of my life.

Smile bright and I hope the fishing's good wherever you are my dear boy.
