Katherine Lynn Sills, 60, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on February 24, 2024. She was born on March 26, 1963 to Joel and Elsie Sills and had two siblings, Liz Dirks and Julie Glenn. Katherine received her associate’s degree from Pierce College. She was married to Mark Taylor in April 2000. Katherine loved living life with a smile. She was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and had a passion for people, traveling, camping, scrabble, theater, and her family and animals. She is survived by her partner, Mark Taylor; mother, Elsie Sills; sisters: Liz Dirks and Julie Glenn; nephews: James LoGuercio, Jacob Glenn, Joshua Glenn, and Joseph Glenn. Katherine was a very positive person. No matter what life threw at her, you could always count on her having a contagious smile. Katherine was very easy to get along with. She loved her family and friends aboundingly.
Katherine’s Celebration of Life is scheduled for Monday, April 1 at 2:00 pm with a reception immediately following. The family has requested everyone to wear a touch of green, Katherine’s favorite color.
