Kathryn is survived by her children: George Ray (Christina) Keller, James Robert Keller, Elizabeth Irene (Greg) Savage and Melissa Keller; her grandchildren: Jennifer (David) Campbell, Shae (Shannon) Farrar, Carrie Savage, Micah (Jennifer) Keller and Thomas (Christina) Keller; and her great-granddaughters: Avery and Ella Farrar. She is preceded in passing by her husband, George Keller; her son, Ronald Lee Keller; her parents, Robert and Irene (South) Urquhart; and her siblings, Betty (Urquhart) Oberto and Bob Urquhart.
Kathryn was born on June 22, 1928, at the family home in Calhan, Colorado to Robert and Irene (South) Urquhart. She graduated from Calhan High School in 1947. Kathryn married the love of her life, George Keller on July 29, 1948, in Raton, New Mexico. George and Kathryn made their home in Rush where they farmed and ranched for over 60 years.
Katie enjoyed crafts, especially painting ceramics, crocheting blankets and loved horses. She loved baking for her community and family and was well-known for her pies and cookies. She loved playing games with friends and family, whether it be Pitch, Solitaire, Aggravation, or Pop the Pig with her great-granddaughters, Avery and Ella. Katie loved being around people and visiting with her friends and family.
