There, he met his future wife, Judith Ann Wilson and they were married on April 28th, 1990. They had two children, John Dylan and Jessica Ann, both born in Arlington, TX.
After 2001, he continued his career in management with Ace Cash Express in Texas and California, Dollar Financial Group in California, GPM Investments in Virginia, and finally settled down in Colorado with United Pacific in 2015.
Ken was very successful in his career and he loved what he did. He enjoyed leading people, teaching them how to “work smart” and be a team player. He also loved learning from them, as well. He always put his employees first and tried to guide them in the right direction, even if it was not with him.
Ken had fond memories of all of his siblings cherished all of the memories from their youth. He loved and appreciated his parents for all of their sacrifices made while raising nine kids. He enjoyed watching his children play sports and loved being involved with all of their friends. He supported a lot of kids along the way and loved them as if they were his own. You could always find Ken doing a crossword puzzle in pen, watching Turner Classic Movies and Jeopardy!, and on Saturdays, college football. He was always up for a round of golf, and also loved designing and building different projects around the house. His favorite activities with his dog, Fred, were going to the dog park and their morning walks around the neighborhood. His greatest accomplishments and points of pride were his two children, Dylan and Jessica. His greatest love was for his wife, Judith.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Ann, his son John Dylan, his daughter Jessica Ann, and his future son-in-law Brian Matthes. He is also survived by his siblings and their families; Steve and Beth Eckersley of Arlington, TX, Susan and Tony DeMarco of Forked River, NJ, Rick and Wanda Eckersley of Boerne, TX, Don and Trish Eckersley of Canyon Lake, TX, Larry and Teresa Eckersley of Mansfield, TX, Tim and Sue Eckersley of Carmel, IN, Matt and Camille Eckersley of Bluff Dale, TX, and Martha and Ben Honea of Arlington, TX.
