I began my banking career at The First National Bank of Colorado Springs.  Besides being a brilliant business man, this man was a gentleman who treated everyone he encountered with kindness, respect, and utmost fairness.  He brought a practice of humanity to the business world; he cared about those around him more than any personal agenda of his own.  I am so blessed and honored that this wonderful human being was on my path in this life.  Dance with the angels and your lovely wife, Mr. Olin.  Thank you.

After having grown up here and returned from college I had the great opportunity to haveworked for Kent at the First National Bank - for only 9 months, at which time my wife decided to go to Law School at the University of Colorado.  This kind & generous man did something totally unnecessary; he arranged for me to be transferred to The First National Bank in Boulder.  I have subsequently spent 35 years in banking and now work back home in Colorado Springs.  I doubt there is a venue here large enough to accomodate everyone who would dearly love to gather in his honor.

My thoughts are with you.  Kent and Marilyn were two of my favorite people.  It was certainly my pleasure to have known them.
May their memory be eternal.
