Mydear friend Kim- I will never forget you...Your beautiful smile, great laugh, kind heart and super fun spirit. We had a lot of fun together, that's for sure!The time (on one of our first dates) you spent the evening in the ER with me getting stitches above my eye following a football game...Our lunches at Allan Hancock College, hiking, Avila, Disneyland....good times. Every time I hear Sugar Magnolia there you are :-) Rest easy my friend...JC

Dear Kim - you had such an impact on our lives. Morgan and Brooke remember you painting their nails and doing their hair. I remember when we all went to Durango and rode the train. And even further back, I remember going to visit you right before you lost Max. You always had a beautiful smile and great personality when you were happy. Over the years, the disease, seemed to us, to slowly creep up on you. There were longer periods of good times. Then in 2010 when you stayed with us, we saw the full effect and how much that disease that taken a hold of your life. When the good times were good, they were great. But when they were bad, they were heartbreaking. I look at pictures of you and Mia from years ago and can see how much you loved her. She was the center of your world. Amongst other things, the disease took you away from her and everyone else too. I have never seen such a devastating disease and I know I did everything I could within my power to help you back in the early stages of your imprisonment of the disease, to the point that all I could do is let you go. I know that the peace you sought for years is finally yours and you have broken free from the disease. We will always remember your beautiful smiling face and keep the memory of you close to our hearts.
