Kree was born October 27, 1950 in Colorado Springs, and graduated from Palmer High School in 1969. He then attended Ottawa University and graduated with a BA in psychology in 1973.
After working at Shawnee Mission Hospital in Kansas City for 5 years, he returned to Colorado Springs, where he became a mechanical insulator with his own business. He retired in 2012.
Kree’s interests included bowling at Harmony Bowl, hunting with his friends and brother and playing golf.
Kree is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Diana Whitaker Saunders, his mother, Evelyn Saunders, his brothers, Kirk and Rob, his sister, Eva Juzwiak, and 12 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence and his older brother, Kim.
Memorial Services will be held at Swan-Law Funeral Directors on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice. Kree was surrounded by the love of family and friends and the support of First Baptist Church, and he will be greatly missed.
