

March 20, 1947 - April 16, 2016
Larry Nipp, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away surrounded by friends and family at the age of 69 due to an aortic aneurysm.
Larry was born on March 20, 1947 in Watertown, South Dakota to Edward and Anna Nipp. The family moved to Falcon, Colorado in 1959. Upon graduation from Falcon High School, he served 2 years in the U.S. Army in Korea.
On August 9, 1970, he was united in marriage to Connie Zajic in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Three daughters were blessed to this union: Lynette, Carrie and Molly. He was employed for 30 years with Meadow Gold Dairies retiring in 2002. He enjoyed retirement by attending NASCAR races, painting, hunting, having the greenest lawn on the block and being a diehard Nuggets fan.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his younger sister Sharlene Kleinedler. He is survived by his wife Connie, daughter Lynette Dormer and husband Scott Dormer, daughter Carrie Mears and daughter Molly Nipp, brother Roger Nipp and sister Karen County. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Michael, Leah, Aiden, Mia and Eva.
A Visitation will be held Monday, April 25, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO. 80910. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 846 E Pikes Peak Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903, with internment to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
