Lavora Silkett 97 of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on March 13, 2017. Lavora was born on January 8, 1920 to the late Earl and Flosey Carnahan in Colorado . She was a proud homemaker and cared for her 3 wonderful children, Duane, Sharon and Faye with the love of her life Mike.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her late husband.
Lavora is survived by her daughters Sharon Moore and Faye Stamper, grandchildren, Keisha and Ron Kinney, Janet and David LeBreton, Duane Jr. and Amanda Silkett, Mike and Laura Silkett, Chad and Jonna Kosmicki, Eric Howard, Jason and Tracy Hinkle and Melissa Delp, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in passing by her husband Mike Silkett and son Duane Silkett.
