Larry was born in Frenchville, Maine to George and Rose Gagnon. He is survived by his loving children; sons, Larry (Janet) Gagnon, Paul (Renee) Gagnon; Daughters, Barbara (Ed) Bachmann, Lorraine (Jack) Ayers; grandchildren, Keith (Jody) Gagnon, Sean Gagnon, Megan (Eddy) Ramey, Amy Bachmann, Lauren (Brad) Besler, Cody Ayers; great-grandchildren, Natalie Gagnon, Madison Gagnon, Riley Ramey, Cayden Besler; and sister Marie Cushman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 65 years, Bernice; three brothers, Rene, Gerry, Richard, and sister, Stella.
Lawrence was truly a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved his family, and he loved to watch his children and grandchildren play sports. He loved sports of all kinds and he especially loved the game of golf. He passed that love of the game on to his children and grandchildren and supported them after he no longer could play. Lawrence was a career officer in the Air Force. He fought in three wars and his decorations included The Bronze Star and Air Force Commendation Medal.
