Lillian D. Steen, 89 formerly of Gwinn MI, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2012,
at the Life Care Center in Colo Spgs, CO, where she was a resident since 2008.
Lillian was born Feb 5, 1923 in Chocolay Twp, to Fred and Hannah (Wittler), Dorow and
lived in the area most of her life. In 1955 she and her husband Lowell moved to Princeton and purchased a small grocery store. Lillian worked for the State of MI, Drivers License Bureau in
Gwinn until retiring in 1975. Then she and Lowell spent their summers in Gwinn and winters
in Arizona. Lillian was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
She is survived by 3 sons; Errol (Carol) Steen of Gwinn, MI Robert (Libby) Steen of Mission, TX
and Gordon (Janice) Steen of Colo Spgs, CO. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry (Kaye)
Steen and husband Lowell Steen.
There will be a private family service held at a later date.
