Brother Lonnie gave the warmest greeting upon entering Church For All Nations. I remember my first time to the church, his handshake and smile made me feel welcomed. I will never forget the little things he whispered in my hearing about God's love and faithfulness. Mrs. Vivian, know that my prayers are with you. Lonnie will be missed just until we see him again.

Lonnie leaves behind a wonderful legacy of laughter.  You couldn't help but laugh when he told his jokes.  He always seemed to have a twinkle in his eye.  He is now gone, but the memories he made will live on in the hearts of those he truly loved.

I will never forget Lonnie's warm smile and genuine way of showing God's love to all.  I knew Lonnie from Grace Fellowship (CFAN) and I do believe he will be one of the first people I see when I arrive to Glory; he will undoubtedly be greeting and sharing his joy in the Lord!  ***Rest in Heavenly Peace dear saint and may that peace extend to your family to help comfort them during this time.

I honor the sainted memory of LONNIE MARTINEZ, a TRUE CHRISTIAN GENTLEMAN! Lonnie was the very first person I saw when I entered the doors of then Grace Fellowship (CFAN) back in 1999. His greeting was so warm and inviting. I joined the church two Sundays later.  Throughout my 5 years at CFAN, I found myself looking for him and Vivian every Sunday.  Church For All Nations will not be the same without him!  My prayers are with Vivian and the family.

Your smile and joy were contagious dear Mr. Lonnie. I know you're smiling just as brightly now. My condolences to Ms. Vivian and family.

I Remember that it was his smile that often greeted me the first time I came into the church. And after a time, I began to look for that smile and his bright cheery "Good Morning". He'd take time to hug my kids, no matter what. It made a single mom's day a little brighter!

It was always a joy to see Lonnie's smiling face at church. He was one of those that made you feel welcome and loved. We are looking forward to seeing him again as we know that he is now among the great cloud of witnesses that will continue to make us feel welcome and loved! 
Enjoy your time, Lonnie, till we see you again in heaven.

I imagine Lonnie is standing at the gates of heaven greeting the new arrivals with a smile, handshake and hug. He was too big a personality to ever be forgotten. The earth is a sadder place because Lonnie is no longer in it. When I see him again in heaven I hope I can convey to him how much he meant to me and how he and Vivian impacted my life for the Lord.

Nothing but love and respect for this man. It always did me good to see you. Enjoy your reward, my friend.

We can only imagine the joy and the smile on your face today as you stand before Jesus and He tells you Well done faithful servant. The choirs rejoicing and all the friends who have went home before you have so many things to tell, share and show you.

Lonnie was a wonderful person and always so cheerful.  It was a pleasure working with him.  I wish his family the peace of God's love in this time of sadness.

Uncle Lonnie was one of my favorite Uncle's! Hearing of his passing was very hard and brought back the all those wonderful memories growing up. My prayers and love to everyone. Aunt Vivian I'm at a loss for words, I pray for your peace.

I will always remember the first time I met Lonnie , I was at the dealership where he worked , he was all smiles . That was back in the 70's ,we will miss his smiles and the love he expressed to everyone he met . He was always the same  , where ever you saw him . He was the same in church , he lived like he loved everyone . I loved running into him and Vivian in the store . They blessed me being so sweet . I will miss you Lonnie , a friend ,  Lou Gallegos

I grew up knowing Lonnie and Vivian and Ron and Cindy from First Baptist Church where we were all members.  Lonnie was a fine person who always, always had a smile and a story.  He was a man of great faith in his Lord and it was evident in everything he did.  He was a man of integrity and people trusted and admired him for not only how his lived his life but as a business man as well.  I pray that Vivian and Ron and Cindy are at peace knowing that Lonnie is now safe and well in the arms of God.

Lonnie was always a great supporter of School District #11 Automotive Advisory Program. He served as Chairperson of the Committee for many years volunteering his time and knowledge making this group most productive and worthwhile.  Under his leadership curriculum was developed, students were placed in various dealerships for employment and of course schools were provided training vehicles for the Plymouth Trouble Shooting Contests.  Everyone that knew Lonnie from Doherty High Schools will always remember that great smile and gentle voice that always made you feel welcome.  Lonnie will be missed by many..Rest in Peace .  Jeep

We remember what good neighbors we had in Lonnie,Vivian, Ron and Cindy in the mid 1950's in Knob Hill.  Even though we hadn't seen the family for many years, our thoughts and prayers are with Vivian, Ron and Cindy at this difficult time.

Uncle Lonnie was such a wonderful and amazing person.I always thought of him as a mentor just as my Papa Monk was. They taught me many things in my childhood about being a great person and loving others for who they are. I always appreciated the fact that Uncle Lonnie and Aunt Vivian would visit me and my son every time we came home for the holidays and vacations.Uncle Lonnie taught me the importance of extended family and happiness. I am forever greatful for all he has given me. May you rest in peace and return to your fun times with Papa, Aunt Mimi, Uncle Jonny and all the others in heaven. In my golden years, it is regretful that I was not a part of the early lives of my relatives on my Father's side.  However, I have the fondest memory of Uncle Lonney - his humor; his faithfulness to the church; his family and friends, all made him the fantastic caring man that he was. He was such a blessing to all, including me, for the short few years we were united.  Rest in peace, Uncle Lonney; Lee and I celebrate the good times we had with you.
