Martha Elena “Marty” Dominguez, age 71, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 21, 2020. She was born to Edmundo Triana and Martha Gonzalez, raised by her loving stepfather Ruben Gonzalez who are all preceded in death. She was married for 32 loving years to Jose Dominguez Jr. who is also preceded in death. She is survived by her children Andrea, Norma, Yvonne, Virginia and Jose the III; her sons-in-law and daughter-in-law; 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild whom she loved to the moon and back and 2 eye blinks (grand kids will get it). She is also survived by her 8 siblings one preceded in death and all her nieces and nephews that she loved all so dearly.
Mom had an energetic personality, she always made people feel welcome and loved yet she was ornery and witty and could hang with the best of them. Our Mom was an avid bowler and was part of a league for many years. Mom liked to entertain and host parties at her home and was a damn good cook/griller. Growing up she always made something different and new along with a dessert for every dinner. Mom was supportive and open to many things as we were growing up from being Andie’s #1 supporter when she wanted to become a police officer or enduring Norma’s heavy metal years to eventually loving it and could probably sing along to any Ozzy Osbourne song. Supporting Bonnie at 6:00am at all her sporting events and being her #1 fan. She enjoyed traveling with Genie to all her Y-Teens outings taking them to many places like San Antonio and Disneyland. Teaming up with Joey in the mother son duo sharing the love of bowling kicking ass and taking names. If you knew our mom, you more than likely had an adventure with her.
Mom will be dearly missed by all.
May you be at peace with our Holy Father Jesus Christ, until we meet again,
Your loving children
