Eighty years ago Mary Ellen and  I were in Miss McNally’s kindergarten class, and after grades 1 - 3 elsewhere I returned to Merchantville School and we were again classmates until sophomore year of HS. 
I knew her well, always kind and personable. Also knew Dick quite well since boyhood.
Mary Ellen and I were near neighbors, two blocks distant. Our parents were friends.
An altogether lovely person. Tried to reach her in Colorado (we live in Denver), but sadly was unable, despite being just a few miles apart.
My profound sympathies go to her large family.

Dear cousins...I am so sad to hear of Aunt Mary Ellen's passing. She was a great Mom. I loved when we got to ride our bikes to Irving Ave. We would play Monopoly for ever.  Your Mom had the greatest laugh. She will truly be missed. I love you guys xo ❤ Kathy Millar Stone

Mary Ellen Davidson family:  It was our pleasure to be neighbors with Mary Ellen and Dick for a short while.  We really enjoyed being around them and their love for one another was always evident. 
I know they are happy now that they are together but it is so sad for
those they leave behind.  May God bless you and give you comfort in the days ahead.
