Michael Raphael Meyer

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Michael, better known as Rafe to those who knew him. He left us far too soon at the age of 32. His vibrant spirit, warm heart, and the love he shared with those around him will never be forgotten.

Rafe was a kind and sensitive soul who, despite facing many challenges, carried a deep and unwavering love for his family, friends, and his cherished dog, Frankie. He had a passion for fishing, music, Disney, animals, and computers.

He had a way of making those around him feel understood, and his genuine compassion for others shone brightly, even when he was facing his own battles.

Though life was not always easy, Rafe never lost his capacity to connect with others and bring comfort when it was needed most. He will be remembered for his deep loyalty, sharp sense of humor, and the steadfast love he gave to those he held dear. He was a son, a brother, and a friend.

While his physical presence is no longer with us, we find solace in knowing that his memory will live on in the countless moments we shared. Rafe will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

A Memorial Service for Michael will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Chapel of Memories, 829 South Hancock Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
