Nick Louis Bradshaw, 92, Lt. Col. USAF (Ret), died May 30, 2021. He was born September 5, 1928 in Woodward, OK to Fred and Grace Bradshaw. Nick married Georgia Kerine (Schmitt) on June 3, 1951 who preceded him in death on April 19, 2014. Nick is survived by his son, Alan, daughter-in-law, Claudia, and granddaughter, Emily. Nick and Kerine had lived in Colorado Springs since 1970.
Nick earned a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from Colorado A&M in 1950, a master’s degree in meteorology from Wisconsin University in 1964, and an MBA from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in 1976.
Nick served as a Weather Officer in the Air Force from 1951 to 1971. He had many military assignments including High Wycombe, England, Offutt AFB in Nebraska, Thailand, the Pentagon, and Ent AFB in Colorado. During his service Nick was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, and the Meritorious Service Medal.
Lt. Col. Bradshaw will be laid to rest in Memorial Gardens in Colorado Springs next to his wife.
