To help provide for her family, Angie answered an ad for house cleaning. She was hired by a prominent family in the community which became a lifelong friendship. Because of her quality of work, and trustworthiness, other members of the community were soon requesting her services.
Later in years, Angie took on full time employment at Current, Inc., retiring in 1993. While working full time, she still managed to clean for her clients, because she could not bear to let them down. Angie was a member of Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, and was a member of the Catholic Daughters, serving as the secretary. She used her beautiful singing voice in the choir and volunteered for many events at the church including serving at funerals and receptions.
Her home was always a welcome place for friends and family to gather, where often you would find her cooking delicious Mexican food and making sure everyone had enough to eat. Angie would always say, “Mi Casa Es Su Casa”. Her hobbies included gardening, sewing, fishing and searching for unique rocks while out on her daily stroll.
Angie is survived by her three children, daughter, Mary Marchbank (Dave) and two sons, Alan and Norman, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one sister, Mildred and two brothers, Alonzo and Albert and many nieces and nephews.
Angie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Noe of 70 years and brother Arnold Cordova.
