Pamela Louise King, also known as Pamie, passed away on April 24, 2023, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the age of 71. She was born on July 21st, 1951, in Lafayette, California, to Lawrence and Arlene Brekas, who preceded her in death, along with her daughter, Kelley Peele.
Pamie was an energetic and hardworking woman who always had a smile on her face and never met a stranger. She was a real estate agent in the Mid Cities area of DFW from 1986 to 1999, consistently making multimillion-dollar sales and ranking in the top 5% of Caldwell Banker Real Estate nationally. She later became a prayer minister for Andrew Womack Ministry from 2002 to 2007.
She was a loving wife to Charles King and an excellent cook. Pamie loved the Lord and the Word and was looking forward to seeing Jesus. She worshipped at River Rock Church, located at 4135 Centennial Blvd, Colorado Springs, 80907.
Pamie enjoyed hiking and reading the Bible in her free time. She is survived by her husband, Charles King, her daughter, Karlyn Peele, her brother, Martin Brekas, her sister, Laurene Mauch, her step-children, Nicole King, Justin King, and Nathan King and nine grandchildren.
A service honoring her life will be held at 1:30 PM on May 2nd, 2023, at Charis Christian Center, located at 10285 Federal Dr, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80908.
Pamie will be laid to rest in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
