

Ray E. Haberstroh, 76, of Olathe, KS, passed Thursday, November 6, 2025. A private family gathering will be held in accordance with Ray’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Ray was born February 25, 1949, in Stillwell, KS, to Ray and Mary Haberstroh. He was a graduate of Stanley High School, and Baker University. Ray met his future wife, Barb Viets, in high school, and together they built a life in Olathe, KS, raising three sons and sharing 46 wonderful years of marriage until Barb’s passing in 2016.
Ray loved working on his land in Olathe, spending time outdoors, and sharing his knowledge and stories with family. He was a devoted fan of Kansas Basketball and the Kansas City Chiefs, and he enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams with friends and family. Ray found joy in simple pleasures and was always ready to lend a helping hand. He was proud of his family and cherished the time spent with his sons and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Mary Haberstroh, his wife Barb L. Haberstroh, and his younger brother Dennis Haberstroh.
He is survived by his sons Chris (Allison) Haberstroh of Colorado Springs, CO, Ryan (Lisa) Haberstroh of Shawnee, KS, Robin (Kristen) Haberstroh of Lenexa, KS, and his youngest brother Scott (Lynn) Haberstroh, and his sister-in-law, Elaine Haberstroh. Ray is also remembered by many other cherished family and friends.
