Rebecca E Galvez, 92. born in New Mexico, on October 10th and a native of Colorado Springs, passed away peacefully on February 28,2025 at home with her family by her side. She lived a life filled with love, kindness , and dedication to her family.
She was a devoted mother to her children. Georgia Abeyta, Marvin Galvez, Genevieve Campbell, Mark Galvez, Beverly Maez, Louella Sickels, Louise Merritt, Jacqueline Busch, Daniel Galvez, Annette Gordon, Joanie Vigil. (Deceased)Johnny Galvez and Jeanette Burrows.
Proud grandmother to 27 grandchildren, 36 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
She was a member of The Catholic Daughters and she enjoyed singing in the choir. She also enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino.
A visitation will be Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 5pm-7pm at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO, 80910.
Funeral mass will be Friday, March 7, 2025 at 1 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2715 E. Pikes Peak Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
Burial will be at Friday, March 7, 2025 at 2:30 pm at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, Strength, Wisdom, and love will remain in our hearts forever.
