Our thoughts are with you at this time. May God be with you and your during this period of mourning. Let the Holy Spirit comfort you as you remember Ruth. Her voice and her kindness will be dearly missed.

Ruth (Aunt Ruth as I know her) was nothing but kind, wise, and full of inspiration. She warmed my heart and the hearts of my husband and mother with each word and with each encounter. I will miss her voice, her words that held truth and power, the calmness she always carried with her, and I will forever cherish the stories she shared with me. I was privledged to be touched by an angel like Ruth, and we should all take a good look around us each day for we are all blessed to be in the prescence of angels. God bless and praise God for allowing us to borrow his child for 89 years and to lay her to rest just as the lord intended.

Dear Faye and loved ones of Ruth,
     I am deeply sorry for your loss of a beloved sister and friend. Ruthie was a beautiful person with a huge and generous heart. My grandparents, Helen and Alan Cheney, could not have gotten by without her kindness and help for many, many years. She continued to be a friend to me for decades after they died, and I will never forget her. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

Sister Ruth Easter blessed us with her friendship, encouragement, letters, and enduring love.  We thank God for blessing the world, and us, with her life and fellowship.  And we extend our sincere condolences to Faye, the nieces and nephews, Sister. Robbie Hardaway, and Friendship Baptist Church, where we came to know and love Sister Easter during our time in Colorado Springs more than thirty years ago.  Grace and Peace to you, one and all.

Mother Ruth Easter was a mentor to many of us who grew up in the Friendship Church Family.  She was a strong Christian Woman who not only "talked the talk but walked the walk". I thank God that she was a part of my life and my son's life, and my spiritual journey at Friendship.   We will miss her, but we will never forgot her!

We were so sorry to hear of Sister Easter's passing. The angels in Heaven are rejoicing. 
Sister Easter was truly a woman of great substance and a warrior in the Army of our Lord. May He continue to sustain and comfort her family during this time of sorrow.
