Sandra Jean Luckhurst

Born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Sandy was the beloved daughter of Howard and Bernice McCabe and older sister to her siblings, Terri Small and Tim McCabe. Sandy and her devoted husband of 49 years, James, enjoyed traveling and had many adventures together. She was a devoted mother to two children — Erin Inghram and Erica Pero Luckhurst — and a cherished grandmother to four grandchildren: David, Andrew, Eliana, and Elliott.

Dependable and hardworking, Sandy held positions at the FBI, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) , US Department of Justice, Washington, DC., Colorado College, and the United States Air Force Academy Association of Graduates (AOG). Sandy was a parishioner at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Colorado Springs.

Sandy will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Funeral arrangements are with Mountain View Mortuary in Colorado Springs, and she will be interred at the National Shrine of St Therese of Lisieux in Juneau, Alaska.
