

Todd David Rowader, beloved father, brother, and friend passed away peacefully on August 28, 2015 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born in Elgin, Illinois, August 3, 1959. He was the fourth of five children born to James Rowader and the late Joan Rowader.
Todd graduated from Arlington Heights High school in 1977, and then went on to obtain his nursing degree from William Rainey Harper College. In 1991, his family moved to Colorado Springs. He worked for Memorial Hospital for 24 years in various positions, but most recently as the Charge Nurse in the Operating Room. He was truly skilled and passionate about his work.
Most importantly, he loved his family. He worked tirelessly to make holidays and vacations special. Todd’s favorite pastimes were fishing and baseball, and enjoyed an annual fishing trip with his best buddies for over 30 years.
He leaves behind children Nathan Rowader, Carly Rowader, and Jack Townsend-Rowader; loving partner Rosalia Anaya and her four children; brothers Darrell, Jon, and Scott, several nieces, nephews and many friends. His younger sister Gretchen preceded him in death.
A memorial in celebration of his life will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs. His final resting place will be in his hometown, Arlington Heights, Illinois.
