Hi there,

I have been trying to find a way to contact Travis' daughter, Rachel, but have been unable to find her on any social media and I lost her number. I also wanted to wait until after the funeral to contact her, as I am sure she was overwhelmed with condolences and messages. I met Rachel in my first year at Charis, and she was one of the sweetest people I have ever met in my life. I sincerely regret not getting to know her more and wanted to just let her know how sorry I am for her loss, how important our brief friendship was to me, and how kind and impactful her father was. He was such an incredible man, and he raised an equally outstanding daughter.



I notice for last couple months that I had not seen my friend doing his daily walk.   He will be missed!! 

We will never forget Travis , he helped us so much in 1st year we could not write it all. His words , teachings were insightful, a blessing and a benefit in our lives. We prayed together with Jake when he was in the hospital while  visiting, He made a impact on our lives that will never be lost, We Love this man and with every thought of him I see a smiling face. He was my leader on a mission trip to Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. I learnt a lot from him and loved him dearly.  Full of energy and the Lord. I will miss him so much.  It was an honour to know him and his love and passion for Jesus.

This man brought smiles to countless people during his time at Chris. Mine especially. He was ALWAYS a bright smiling face to greet you every single day. I miss him dearly, but I know he’s in a much better place and we’ll all get to see him again!

I will miss Travis very much but I know I will see him again in heaven!
I met him my first year at Charis Bible college  he was very kind to me and always very respectable and upright of a man, I seen him as a mans-man very professional but treated me as if I was a friend. I am not just saying this he impacted my life. 
When I visited Charis he was one Of the people I would always look for so I could say hi.
Sorry for your loss. My family and I will keep your family in our prayers, Trust God he loves you very much and cares about you all, you are his beloved children.

I have several when it’s about Travis he would always go around at Charis bible college and encourage people.  I would see him countless of times.  He was great at holding me accountable and I so loved that about him.  He was consistent and stable at his position at Charis being the first year coordinator.   I also remember this past summer I asked him to do the ceremony of my wedding in June and he said he had never been asked by anyone and the only time he had done one was during when he was in school during IAG’s.  I could tell he was honored that I asked him too sadly he couldn’t commit.  Travis I will miss your wonderful encouraging soul.  I will miss you sense of humor and most of all I will miss your loving kindness.  See you in eternity brother :-) 

Travis was one of the first people I met at Charis Bible College, and basically one of the first people I got to know when I arrived in Colorado. I remember him as someone who was proactive, sharp, bubbly, and excellent in everything he set his hands on. It’s a surprise to me to come across his memorial on Facebook. It doesn’t matter that I’m 5000 miles away from Colorado now even though I wish I could be there, what I do know is that I’ll get to see Travis and that bright smile I remembered about him again, in heaven. He is missed.

Travis was a blessing and so very kind to me at school. I am praying for all that are in pain and his family.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Travis was truly an amazing person.  God put him in my life at exactly the right moment and literally saved my life while I was at Charis.
He spoke so much word, truth and encouragement into me that my whole life changed.   I will forever be grateful to him.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I worked for AWMI and knew Travis from there.  He was always so friendly and kind. I will always remember him fondly from the trips we made to get the ministry mail. My prayers are with you and your family. We know Travis is with the Lord and we will all see him again in Heaven.❤️

Travis was probably one of our very favorite people on campus. 

He was always fully present when you spoke with him. You knew he was aware of everything going on around you but he never made you feel in a hurry or pressured. Even though much of the time, he would be guiding you to class while you spoke! Lol! 

His voice was unmistakeable and his laughter lit the room. What a blessing he was! 

Our heart goes out to the family.  We pray that God will heal the broken-hearted and that you will walk in peace. 

May warm memories and Christ’s love surround you.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I loved my conversations with Travis. We always had a great time of fellowship together when we saw one another. He was my brother and friend! He had an infectious smile and was ready to encourage and uplift those around him.

While I weep with you, I also rejoice with you, knowing that Travis is in the presence of Jesus and is fully experiencing his love, peace, and joy without any hindrances this world presents.

My wife and I are praying for you and the family to receive the comfort of the Holy Spirit during this time!
