I’m so blessed to have you in my life!! You were always there for me, no we weren’t blood but you were still a mom to me you always treated me like family and considered me a part of your family... We became closer when I moved in to help you out.... RIP you are now free from pain and you are with dad.  I LOVE YOU!!!! 

I remember as a kid, sitting on her front porch and eating the sweet peas right off her vine. They were so good! And those steep stairs she had in their house going up the two extra bedrooms that my mom (her sister Dorothy) and I would stay in when we came to visit. As a child, I thought it was the castle rooms where only the princesses stayed lol

Valdena was my aunt , I have very fond memories of staying at her house when I was little . She always spoke kindly to me even when I was naughty. She used to send me little gifts in the mail for almost any occasion. Although it’s been about 12 years since we last visited her and Ray ( I live in Kansas) I could always touch base with her through her yearly Christmas card .I became concerned this year when that card didn’t come . Ron and family I’m so sorry for your loss and pray God will comfort you with this truth , she is now face to face with our savior. God bless all who will miss her so dearly.

My heartfelt condolences to Val’s family.   Val was my neighbor and dear friend for over thirty years.   She was a kind and loving person. who walked her walk with dignity  and grace. Over the years we shared much laughter, tears, hopes and dreams.  The world is a little less whole because of her passing.   I will miss her greatly and love her always.   Go with God, my dear and eternal friend, Val.
