During Walter’s formative years, he was an athlete and made the varsity squad for the Wintersville Warriors. After their chance meeting Walter would shortly start his military service in the United States Air Force starting in 1968. In the midst of his service, Walter and Marlene had gotten married in May of 1970. They moved to Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, FL where he was a Civil Servant. He would later move to Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. He coached a baseball team in Colorado Springs named the “Bulldogs”. Walt had a passion for fishing, hunting and being outdoors as well as being a diehard THE Ohio State Fan. Walt spent most of his career as a Project Manager in the HVAC industry.
