

Willard “Bud” Seymour, age 79, was a resident of Calhan, Co since 1968 and formerly of Fountain, Co passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Laural Manor in Colorado Springs. He worked as the mill operator at the Pikes Peak Co-op until his retirement. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend.
Bud was born on February 20, 1934 in Fountain, Co to the late George and Gladys (Wilson) Seymour. After attending school he served his country honorable and received numerous medals in the United States Navy. He married Banethia “Bea” Shannon on September 19, 1953 in San Diego, California. He enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling for many years.
He is survived by his long time loving wife, Bea of Calhan; three children, Mike (Alicia) Seymour of Calhan, Pat Seymour of Peyton, Cathy (Darrel) Nily of Peyton; 3 sisters, Mabel (Melvin) McGee of Colorado Springs, Mary (George) Baker of Fountain, Jeanie (Pete) Dunkel II of Ohio, and 1 brother, Donald (Linda) Seymour of Michigan. He has 5 wonderful grandchildren; Steven, Brooke, Ellissa, Brandon and Levi. He has 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephew.
Bud was proceeded in death by his parents and a sister, Flora McCaughhay.
He was laid to rest at the Calhan Cemetery, in Calhan on August 2, 2013.
