

Bill Fodor passed away on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025 from interstitial lung disease. Many of you knew Bill from his 10 years as the morning radio personality on the classical music station KCME. Always humble, he was a genius of many talents with an amazing knowledge base and a clever sense of humor. Bill was born on January 29th, 1949, and raised on Staten Island, NY. He completed his college education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. degree in biomedical engineering. During his time in the Air Force ROTC, he met his future wife, Patricia. Following their marriage and his commissioning, he embarked on a distinguished 22-year career in the United States Air Force, during which he undertook numerous complex military assignments in Alabama, Texas, Germany, and Oklahoma. He retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He received an M.S. in mathematics from the University of Texas and an MPH and PhD/ABD in industrial hygiene from the University of Michigan. All while raising three bright, beautiful children; Carolyn, Matthew, and Michael. During retirement, Bill expanded his immense love of classical music on KCME, taught at Colorado Technical University, and enjoyed the grace and beauty of God's world with his beloved wife of 54 years. He was an exceptional father, grandfather, a gentle loving husband and a kind, kind man.

Services will be held at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church located at 8755 Scarborough Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80920 on December 11th at 10am with a reception to follow at 11am.
