Adan Chaidez, “Twin,” was born on April 27, 1981, in Los Angeles, California. He is a twin brother to Fabian Chaidez. Adan is the second-oldest of six children. His life was taken too soon on January 7, 2023. Catalina Chaidez and Fidel Chaidez are his parents. His siblings are Fabian
(his twin brother), Erika, Mayra, Samanta, and Mercedes. He is an uncle to Danny, Destiny, Johnny, Cattleya, Emmarie, Eva, Zayla, and Fabian-Adan.
Adan had a unique personality with a huge, kind heart. When someone told him they liked his shoes, he was the kind of person who would take them off and give it to them. Adan was one-hundred percent mommy’s boy. He never liked to cry in front of his family because he wanted them to see him strong. He always looked out for his parents, brother, and sisters in every way possible. Adan’s gifted talent was drawing. He was an artist, his drawings compare to no other.
Adan had a phenomenal childhood on 137th block in the city of Compton, California. He spent so much time outside with his friends from 137th street and shared these memories with his twin brother. Everyone from this block knew Adan and his brother as the “Twins.” Adan was popular growing up. He always defended Fabian and had his back 24/7. He loved playing baseball with his friends at Campanella Park. He was an extremely talented batter, he took his team to the championships a couple of seasons. He spent a lot of his time outdoors by riding quads and bicycles, or going rollerblading.
After high school, he joined the union as a carpenter and worked there his entire life. He started working for Beaven & Herron. He was the type of worker to show off how talented he was at his job. He enjoyed showing off to his sisters how much money he would make weekly. Adan would always say that he was never going to retire because he loved what he did. He was one of the best carpenters in his union. The most recent company he worked for was R&A Roof Structure.
In this company, he became really close to his foreman, Victor. They would call each other by “Carnal.”
Adan followed his parents to Riverside, California when his dad bought a ranch there. He had his own man-cave right outside the main house. When his dad bought the ranch, Adan was the first one to choose out his room. He was a home-body and loved watching shows and movies in his room. Every single morning before work, Adan would wake up about two hours before he had to clock in and make himself a coffee and lunch. He always arrived to work 30 minutes early. He was definitely an early bird even on the weekends. Usually on Saturdays, he would wake up at 6am and go to his parents and sisters rooms to wake them up. Even when his sisters moved out, he would make sure to still wake them up super early on Saturdays by Facetiming or calling them. Every day after work, his mom Catalina had him a home-cooked meal and then Adan would go watch shows. He was always recommending his sisters new shows to watch. He would tell them, “Oh man, you guys need to watch this show, trust me it is so good and it will have you crying.” On the weekends, he liked to spend his time going to the swapmeet super early, he would always take his mom with him. He liked to eat out at restaurants such as Mariscos and street tacos.
Adan spoiled his little nieces. When they wanted to order something from Amazon, he would give them his debit card and would let them order anything they wanted. He adored his nieces and nephews so much.
Adan’s favorite food was always his mom’s home-cooked meals such as chiles rellenos, tortillas de harina, and caldos. Adan was one-hundred percent a dog person. He loved his dogs so much like if they were his children. When it would rain, he would take in all of the dogs from his dad’s ranch and let them stay in his bedroom.
Adan is now in Heaven with his twin brother Fabian, Grandma “Nana,” Uncle Changel, and Cousin Arnold. Adan will forever be missed by his mom, dad, sisters, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He was loved by many and will continue to be loved. Esto no es el final de la historia de su vida porque seguirá viviendo en nuestro corazón. Fly High and Look Over Us.
