Adrian Luis Perez was born on May 15, 1992, at 11:11 PM in Riverside, CA. He is survived by his Father, Luis Perez, and his Mother, Maria Leticia Perez, and his siblings, Andrea Leticia Perez, Alan Leonel Perez, and Alvin Leonardo Perez. A loving, loyal firstborn son and older brother to his parents and his three siblings. An incredibly loyal friend who would always be the first to reach out. Once you were his friend, you were a friend for life. He was incredibly smart—a human calculator who could do calculations in his head within seconds. With a calculator in hand, his siblings would race him, and he won every time. He received his Water Management Associates from Valley College. He graduated and walked side-by-side with his father in San Bernardino in 2019. He had an incredible work ethic, working at Costco Wholesale for 11 years.
Adrian had a passion for all things sports. As a Southern California native, he proudly supported the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Galaxy, UCLA Football and Basketball, Las Vegas Raiders, and Los Angeles Kings. You could always count on seeing him wearing his favorite jerseys. He couldn't wait to go out to watch a live baseball game at his favorite structure and place on Earth, Dodger Stadium. His home away from home. Truly Blue Heaven for him. After any Dodger game, he would break down the game with his Father, Luis. He also loved supporting his other favorite soccer teams, like FC Barcelona and the USMNT. He couldn't wait for the World Cup to come around every four years. He loved collecting paninis, trading them with his cousins, and putting them in his World Cup Sticker book. He also loved to explain every aspect of the game, from the infield fly rule in baseball to his younger brother Alan or The Quarterback sneak in football to his younger brother Alvin. He loved watching UFC events with his brothers, following his favorite fighters: Justin Gaethje, Michael Chandler, and Conor McGregor. He especially loved McGregor because, as he put it, "Conor is always good for business." He loved Sports Entertainment such as the WWE, NXT, and AEW. In his childhood, he would practice his wrestling moves on his younger siblings, doing the Suplex, Attitude adjustment, or the RKO on them on the couch or in a jumper. Along with following sports, he was an incredible athlete in his own right. Playing in Varsity Tennis and Soccer in high school, as well as being an avid weightlifter.
He was a music fanatic of The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rüfüs Du Sol, Tame Impala, J. Cole, Vampire Weekend, and The Killers, to name a few. Adrian would like to bust out a dance move every once in a while and recently fueled his sister's obsession with BTS by letting her replay the same song over and over again. He was known for his quick wit; he could light up a room and be the funniest person in it. Adrian would keep his friends and family on their toes in a playful manner, having them guess whether or not he was joking. He had an infectious smile, laugh, and a kind, compassionate spirit. He was a selfless individual who never talked back to his parents, gave advice to those who asked for it, and put others' needs before his own. If anybody asked him a favor, he would do it without question, no matter the time of the day.
A favorite pastime for him was spending time with his siblings watching anime such as Attack on Titan, Samurai Champloo, My Hero Academia, Cowboy Bebop, Demon Slayer, Dragon Ball Z/Super, Chainsaw Man, and Jujutsu Kaisen. Along with anime, he was a movie and TV show buff. Loving movies such as The Wedding Singer, Swingers, Inception, The MCU, 500 Days of Summer, Juno, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, That 70's Show, and Seinfeld - would reference them any chance he got. He loved going to the movies with his siblings, like being able to see the new Christopher Nolan Movie Oppenheimer in IMAX 70 millimeters with his brothers and Facetiming his sister Andrea, who is in PA school in Northern California to break down the film with her afterward. He also loved playing video games with his siblings, playing Pokemon Go, catching Shiny Pokemon, and trading them with one another. As long as he was with his family, he was happy.
He loved his pets Mickey, a terrier mix; Leia, a Golden Retriever; and Pluto, a Poodle mix. He would let them have some french fries from his Jack n' the Box combos, let them sleep on his bed, and show them a ton of love and affection.
He was an incredible man of faith, a devout Catholic who made sure to attend church regularly—helping his mother, Letty, the food pantry director at his local church, Saint Catherine of Siena Rialto. His patron saint was Saint Sebastian, the patron saint of athletes. He loved his visit to La Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona, Spain, this summer.
He would buy his mother jewelry and flowers spontaneously, with no special occasion needed. He would do it just to make her feel special. He was his mother's treasure.
He had so much love in his heart for God, his family, friends, and Pets. He was as loyal as they came and had a heart of Gold.
He passed away at the age of 31 on August 13, 2023, in the City of Ontario, CA. He is incredibly loved and will be greatly missed by all.
