

Alec Martin Yzaguirre was born in Fontana, CA on August 6, 1984 and passed into another life on November 19, 2022. He lived his entire life in Southern California graduating from Redlands High School in 2002. As a baptized Catholic, Alec observed many of the sacraments at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Redlands, CA.
Family was always important to Alec and he extended that love to Anabell Ortega and her daughter Aliya by marriage in 2021. The arts were also important, Alec studied piano and was a gifted artist blessing many with his drawings. Alec also had an innate ability to take apart and reassemble mechanical objects. For 16 years Alec was employed by Riverside County in the Transportation and Construction Departments where he was a Principal Engineering Tech.
Alec is survived by his father, Gilbert Thomas Yzaguirre, Jr, stepmother, Maury Yzaguirre, brother, Gilbert Anthony Yzaguirre, half-brother Jared Ramirez, step sister, Megan Clark (Brett) and step-brother, Austin Lane (Aubrey). Surviving extended family include grandparents, Gilbert and Dora Yzaguirre, aunts and uncles, Robert and Lisa Caldera and Jeff and Lubna Yzaguirre, and cousins, Lauren Caldera, Morgann Howell (Jarrod), Hannah Yzaguirre and Jared Yzaguirre.
Viewing and Vigil will be Friday, December 16 at Montecito Memorial Park from 5:00 to 8:00 pm with Rosary beginning at 6:00 pm
Funeral Mass will be Monday, December 19 at 10:00 am at Ste. Adelaide’s Catholic Church in Highland, CA. Internment will immediately follow the mass at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, CA.
A visitation for Alec will be held Friday, December 16, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. A funeral service will occur Monday, December 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Adelaide Church, 27457 Base Line S, Highland, CA 92346. A committal service will occur Monday, December 19, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324.
