Alvin C. Hurd, 88 years old of Colton, California, passed away on November 30, 2015, at his home. He was born on April 16, 1927 in St. Helena, California to Ray and Bertha Hurd. He is survived by his loving wife, Nora, children, Bernece Sorrow, Bonnie Hurd, Julia Shires, and step-daughter, Robi Duncan. He also has, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. and Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m., both at Montecito Valley View Chapel, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, California. Burial will follow at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging #4, 11:45 a.m., 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, California.
Alvin will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
