Anthony Joel Lomeli, passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2025, at Kaiser-Ontario. He sadly lost his second battle with cancer at the young age of 34. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Anthony was born on February 25, 1991 to Paul Lomeli and Maritza Montano of Rialto, Ca.
Anthony is survived and missed by his loving wife Katrina (Waite) of only 6 years; his parents Maritza Montano (Jonathan Rafanan) and Paul Lomeli, brother Michael Lomeli, sister Monica Metzger, brother-in-law Justin Metzger, nephew Cayde Metzger, grandmother Maria Montano. He was predeceased by his grandfather Anastacio Montano (2020) uncle, Daniel Montano (2022) and father-in-law Allen Waite (2024).
Anthony was the cherished first grandson of Anastacio and Maria Montano (my Anthony first) and also of Martha and Salvador Uribe. He is forever cherished and remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who adored him dearly.
Anthony was a kind, generous and loving person who loved spending time with his family no matter the place or occasion; Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm with his siblings, his nephew Cayde and all of his cousins, car shows with his uncle Gabriel, shooting with his brother, going to the beach and mountains with his wife Katrina, even being the DD to take his mama and tia Barb to taco Tuesday, sitting around the fire with grandpa and uncles Rick and Danny. He loved the LA Dodgers, he watched every game with whomever was around, but he was the happiest when he went to Dodgers Stadium with his wife, mother, brother, sister, cousins, especially his cousin Daniel who shares his passion for the Dodgers.
Anthony was always in good spirits and gave 100% even while battling cancer and being in constant pain. He fought hard until the very end. Anthony will be deeply missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have known him.
