Armida Trejo, 70, of Riverside, California, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born on August 16, 1954, and throughout her life, she shared an abundance of love, warmth, and generosity with everyone she met.
Armida was the beloved wife of Amado Trejo, and together they built a beautiful family. She was a devoted mother to her sons Amado, David, Edgar, and Edel, and the proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was the matriarch of our family, the heart and soul of every gathering, and the guiding light through all seasons of life. Her love extended far beyond her immediate family—she made everyone feel like family, even those she had just met.
Known for her loving and caring nature, Armida had a heart that embraced the world. Her kindness was boundless, and she never hesitated to offer help, comfort, or simply a listening ear. She had a way of making others feel seen and valued, and her presence alone brought peace and joy.
Armida was also an extraordinary cook, known for preparing unforgettable meals and always remembering everyone's favorite dishes for their birthdays. Her kitchen was the heart of the home—filled with delicious aromas, laughter, and love.
In addition to her warmth and generosity, Armida had a vibrant spirit and a deep love for dancing. Music would light her up, and she brought that same energy and joy into every family gathering.
The matriarch of the family leaves behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and selflessness. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we are comforted by the many beautiful memories she gave us. We will miss her deeply—her smile, her food, her warmth, and above all, her unconditional love.
