

Carmen was a longtime resident of San Bernardino County. She was born in San Timoteo Canyon, Redlands in 1922 to Louis F. and Ramona Gonzales, Carmen’s family moved to the city of San Bernardino in the 1930s; where she met her long time love, friend and husband. They were married after the war at Christ the King Catholic Church.
Carmen was a member of Christ the King Parrish, where she served as their First Queen, was married and baptized her 7 children. She established her home with her husband and raised their family on Julia St. in San Bernardino. She joined her husband this evening, quietly, under the care and watchful eyes of her daughters and sons in their family home.
Carmen is survived by her 3 sisters: Emma Lopez, Cora Velarde, Mary Jeanette Gonzales; 6 children: Alfred Aguila, Yolonda T. Rubio, Delia Wetherby and Angel Aguila of San Bernardino, Roseanna Vidaure of Rialto, and Dolores Stewart of La Puente; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Carmen was a beautiful, fun loving and loving person! Along with her children she is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Carmen will truly be missed by her family.
