Uncle Donnie I know you are in heaven with all of our loved ones who went before you. Know that you are in my heart and I will always have wonderful memories with you. I know I will see you again one day. I will keep you in my prayers and I am here for Aunt Squeaky and all of my cousins. I love you very much.

I am proud to carry your name and I will be sure to be as strong of a man as I can be. Your legacy will be carried on by your grandsons and will leave an eternal imprint on both of their lives. I promise to give my life to them and raise them to be a better man than me. I know you will be at their side every step of the way. I promise to be a phone call away for my mom and sisters and brother, promise to take the reigns and steer to a happier place for our family. So lay your worries to rest and be free and at ease because I got you. You were loved,you are loved and that will never change. Until I see you again!!! Love your son......

Words cannot express how sad I feel and how heavy my heart is. My father in law, Donnie, was taken much too soon from his family and friends. Those of us who saw his illness take its toll on Donnie, know that he is suffering no longer. He fought his illness for so long, losing his ability to see was hard on him, Rosemary,my husband and his brother and sisters.But, even after all that he was still stubborn, still quick with his jokes and sarcastic comebacks, I will remember him they way he was  when I first met the family when they lived in Rialto, before I became his daughter in law I was his daughters best friend in high school, I was always amazed on the things he found and brought home from his route driving for Edco disposal. He was always in his garage, music blaring, fixing something, playing pool with his friends working on cars.Their house was always full when fights were on cause Donnie always had a "black box" and never had to pay for them!!  If you were a friend or a friend of a friend, Donnie and Squeaky opened their house and welcomed you. This is how I see him,how I will remember him, I will carry those memories forever, telling them to my boys to remind how grandpa was before he got sick. Remind them of how he would be up early on Sundays to make breakfast before he got sick,  and they would run over to have eggs and hashbrowns with him. He loved his grand kids I am happy that he got to meet his last granddaughter Lilianna, see his first grandchild, my son Jordan, graduate high school and get accepted into college and be with all 11 of  his  grandchildren, to watch them grow,change and play at his house. We will always love him,never forget him and know he is always with all of us until we see him again in Heaven.

it is with a heavy heart to have to say good bye to those we love especially  if it is a parent,but if we can look pass our loss and understand that their pain is no more and that they are now truly free  maybe you will find some comfort.Time will heal your pain  and know that Don senior will always be with you .God calls us when HE wants us .God looked down and saw Don senior in so much pain God said I have come so that your suffering will be no more come take my hand and follow me home.I enjoyed knowing Don senior and sharing our grandsons, Jordan and Joshua with him and Rosemary and will keep those times close.I wish you all 
 peace and love and know he will always be with you and you will see him again         God Speed.
