Doris was born in North Dakota, close to the Canadian border. She moved to San Bernardino, California and married Hollis Donaldson. They raised their 2 children, Linda and John, in Bloomington. After the fire, Doris moved in with her granddaughter, Amy and her husband Tom. She lived happily there with Amy’s family until her death.
