Geraldine A Barnett

Geraldine “Geri” Ada Barnett, age 84, of Grand Terrace, CA, passed away on October 4, 2023, at her home after a short illness. Geri was born on June 15, 1939, to John & Martha Schuller in Orange City, Iowa. Geri truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, crafting, knitting, crossword puzzles, and reading in her spare time. She was also actively involved in the Colton Women’s Club. Her family paid this tribute to her, ‘Geri was one of the kindest people you could ever meet; she opened her heart and home to many over the years, and she will be sorely missed.’ Geri was predeceased by her sister, Ardyce Barnett. She is survived by her husband, Ron; three children, Lisa, Kevin, and Sandie, and her three grandchildren, Jaimie, Michael, and Sami. Along with four great-grandchildren, many nieces/ nephews, and extended family.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Geri touched are invited to the Cypress Chapel, 24145 Barton Rd Loma Linda, CA 92354, from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. on Thursday/ November 2, 2023, to reminisce, grieve, and support each other—reception to follow. Reception details will be provided at the service. The family asked attendees to wear different shades of blue to the service, which was Geri’s favorite color.

Arrangements are by Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary in Colton, CA. The family of Geri wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Redlands Community Hospice.
