Imogene Julia Foreman, 96, entered into the very presence of her Savior and Lord on Sunday, April 5, 2026. Imogene was born May 16, 1929 in Danvers, Illinois to Henry and Della (Potts) Frahm. She graduated from Stanford (Illinois) High School. She met the love of her life,Wilfred Winston Foreman at a church state youth convention in Illinois and they married on January 27, 1949. She worked to help put “Willie” through college, and then she earned her degree from Illinois State Normal University , Normal, Illinois.
They moved to San Bernardino County, California, where they both got jobs teaching. Imogene recalled teaching and assisting many young people who came from troubled families and situations. They even had students live in their home upon special circumstances. They both served as educators in the Colton, California school system for over than 32 years.
Throughout their marriage their devotion to God and His church was of utmost importance. Everything centered around their commitment and relationship with Jesus Christ and their involvement in the church, especially Church of God congregations wherever they lived. They loved to sing in choirs, music groups, teach church classes and support others in ministry.
Imogene and Willie helped lead the ministries of/for senior citizens (SAFE) faithfully and effectively in the Association of the Church of God of Southern California and Nevada for almost 20 years, stepping down from that role to accommodate Willie’s increasing health needs. They were a source of encouragement and inspiration to many people.
Willie was a member of Gideons International a evangelical association that equips and mobilizes Christian business and professional men, along with their wives, to share God and to distribute Bibles to people across the United States and around the world. Imogene became very involved carrying out the mission to share God’s life-changing Word through the Gideons. All of her life Imogene continued to donate Bibles to honor friends and acquaintances for their birthdays, anniversaries and in remembrance of those who died. The Gideons also encouraged Imogene until the very last day of her life.
Imogene is survived by her niece, Terri Aaron and adult children Hallee, Dale, David and Laura.
Imogene willl be remembered with respect and gratitude by those to whom she served.
