Jesus is survived by 2 sisters and several nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Antonio Gonzalez and Eduarda De La Cruz.
His life was hard but there was nothing too hard for him. He entered the US at an early age and started to work on farm fields, vineyards (he worked for Gallo Winery), butcher, and lastly his own landscaping company. Later, he became a US citizen. Jesus was old school. At 101 he wanted a job. He wanted to earn his keep and not just sit around the house. He did not need anyone to dress nor bathe him; and he refused to use a walking cane. He remembered a lot of his past and would share his stories with whoever would listen. Tio, you are missed and loved greatly!
A mass was held for him on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 11:30am at Our lady of Hope Catholic Church in San Bernardino, Ca.
