Ms. Josephine Walker was born May 24, 1924 to John and Mitty Walker in Bunkie, Louisiana. She is the mother of 7 children, 4 boys, and 3 girls. She is preceded in death by multiple family and friends including 3 of her children Lawrence weekly Roosevelt Ellis, and Margaret Jones. She moved her family to California in the early 60's for a "better life." She was a domestic engineer (housekeeper) for various well known employers and single handedly raised 7 children to adulthood. In the late 70's Yahweh made his will known to her when she began attending the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research Banning California Branch. She embraced the gospel and would often say "I'm glad I got to know the truth before I leave this world" The songs of praise brought her much joy.
