To the Pae family; my heart breaks with yours. I know it has been a long time since Justin and Anthony and Cristian have hung out but please know that even though so much time has gone by, he still holds a special place in our hearts. We A’s recently as this week were talking about him and memories that were shared when our kids were younger. 
I remember Justin being such a sweet kid. Go figure back in 2008/09’ish we bought our first home in Highland and we just happened to live across the street and a couple houses down from the Pae family, who also had a son that went to the same elementary school as my kids did in a completely different town of Loma Linda at Bryn Mawr Elementary. Our kids spent a couple years going to the same elementary school and also being neighborhood friends. I remember your family being the first family outside of my immediate family that I would let my kids stay at. Anthony and Cristian had so much fun with Justin. There were two memories that have always stick out in my head for some reason, maybe because they were so good for the kids. Once when they went with Justin and your family to see Despicable Me (they had the best time with Justin) and also spending the night and eating the best Brussels Sprouts ever During a sleep over and playing games.  Or occasionally driving the kids to school at Bryn Mawr or the kids fs playing as neighborhood kids do.
Justin was a part of Anthony and Cristian’s childhood and we’re all heartbroken to have learned of his passing. Please know his memory lives on; like I said, we were just talking about a memory of him him earlier this week. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. 

Justin, thank you for being one of the most wonderful people I could ever meet. There are simply no words I could ever say or even come up with to describe how much I miss you.  You radiate insurmountable love and that is exactly where you will always be—existing with us in love. You are one of the few people that I can say attributed to most of my coming of age moments which I cherish so deeply. Listening to a number of bands and fangirling together, jamming with our guitars, walking to boba tea house, having bonfires and making smores, and being hyperenergetic kids in the middle of the street just basking in our youth and naivety. I can vividly remember the insane laughs that we shared because your laugh was one of those laughs that make other people laugh because we could just tell how happy you were. What an honor it was to teach you the song “Teenage Dirtbag” on the guitar because it was such a perfect depiction of our carefree but also angsty phase of life. An honor is an understatement because having you in my life and sharing those special moments with you are nothing but blessings. Later, our taste palettes broadened which led us on our food adventures. It was bonding and therapeutic because it brought us together as not only friends but family. Anyone that had you in their life are arguably the luckiest human beings because of your care, kindness, warmth and compassion. Everything you did, said and even thought about had other people’s best interest at heart. The gratitude I possess for who you are is inexplicable because you constantly allowed others to be unapologetically themselves. You were such a light and encouraged others to do the same. Thank you for reciprocating the affection that I display to my loved ones because it was always so important for you to make sure that others felt seen and loved because that’s just who you are. I love you more than you will ever know. You're gonna live forever in me, Justin. 

Man I still can’t believe that I’m living in a world without you. Ever since middle school you always had the best attitude and we’re always the most joyous person to be around and had the best humor, you could make anyone you met laugh right away that was something that just came naturally to you and it was such a mark of your personality and how great of a person you are. Just because you physically aren’t with us anymore, doesn’t mean that any of us will ever forget how amazing of a person you are and the lasting impact you will leave will forever be positive in my heart. No matter what I look at the good moments you were able to give me, you helped me mentally through a lot of the issues that I was going through and always just wanted to help a buddy out, I’m glad I got the opportunity for you to want to spend our graduation day together, it’s forever engraved in my head I could never forget it that was our high school graduation like no one will ever forget anything they do on a day that huge for us, I miss you dude I love you man. 

Justin was a very kind hearted person. He always put everybody else’s needs before his. He never say bad things about anybody and always has a big smile on his face even when he was hungry. He was never picky with food and will eat whatever is on the table. I love how respectful he was with anyone and everyone.

You were very sweet not only to me but also to Zoey. You never hesitated to help Zoey out with her homework and don’t mind hanging out with her watching kid’s shows/movies. You are such a funny and good kuya to her and Zoey looked up to you.

Justin, thank you for appreciating me in every possible way. Thank you for always being there all the time especially when needed you the most. I will never forget how you touched my heart and how you made me feel like I had a son. Thank you for the crazy, funny, and sweet memories we shared together. I’ll be missing you forever.

My Just.. my nephew.. my friend.. I am still in disbelief that you're no longer here with us. I can't believe we'll never get the chance to tell you face to face how much you really meant to us or tell you just how much we love you! I'm so sorry! We should've told you more often! I wish I can undo what's happened and bring you back to your mother and father, who loved you immensely!
You were such a kind, smart kid growing up.. I remember we would talk about random things like the planets, NASA, & aliens! We would talk grown up & scientific stuff when you were just in high school! You always had such a mature soul, smart like your mom! 
Once, around the time when the Space X launched in 2017 or 18 (not sure how long ago) I completely freaked out believing it was aliens and that a space ship or a UFO made those track marks in the sky... You and your dad laughed at me but there was nothing or no one that could change my perspective! I swore it could've been, but we soon learned it was a space launch. LOL I'll cherish that memory forever. 
One of the last times I was with Justin, I asked him about those large, juicy strawberries at his job.. I told him to please get me some and that I would Venmo or send him the money somehow.. He laughed and said "Auntie Liz, it's just strawberries. I've got it". Our sweet Justin, you were always so caring and kind. I'm deeply saddened that your little sisters and cousins won't be able to witness your tender, loving care like you've always provided them before. Our family will never be the same without you! We promise to share stories of you and keep your spirit alive within us. We pray you are among our angels in the presence of our Lord, Jesus. We know, unfortunately, the only thing actually promised in life is death, but we wish you could've stayed with us longer. Even though we suffer, we must remember where our help comes from and who is right there to help us fight this battle while we grieve. Be near to us, our Angel!

Justin is one of the only people in my life who truly shaped me into who I am today. All the way since the beginning of sixth grade, his kindness, compassion, and acceptance of who I am gradually taught me to be comfortable in my own skin. I wish I could tell him just one last time how much that means to me, and how thankful I am to have met someone so incredible at such a young age. He is a true friend and someone I will never forget because of how he always checked in on me, cooked for me if I was feeling down, and listened to me at times when I felt the most alone. It's so hard to accept that he is not here anymore, that I can't just call him or hear his voice, but I find comfort in knowing he is with all of us and will be forever. I love you, Justin. Rest easy.

Justin, I miss you more and more every passing day. I am so lucky to have had you in my life and my only regret is not meeting you sooner. You were the most loving and kind person I have ever had the privilege of experiencing. You were never shy when showing affection to those you cared for and it helped me and the rest of the boys be able to show that affection to one another. No matter the difficulties you were facing, you put the needs of your loved ones before your own. There is no way I can repay you for that, but I promise I’ll carry on and show the same love you showed to all of us. I still remember your smile. It’s unforgettable and I wish every day that I could see it one last time. It pains me to know that you’re gone, but I know that we all carry a piece of you in our hearts. Our worlds will never be the same without you, but I know that heaven gained a beautiful angel. I’ll remember you in every way I can. I promise you will not be forgotten. I’ll keep trying to recreate the soup you used to make and when we meet again you can tell me how I did. If there’s another life, please find all of us. I love you more than words can describe. I’ll see you soon my dearest friend.

Justin I just do not understand how you could be gone so soon. I feel so incapable of registering the finality of your passing that I find myself reading through old messages in an attempt to find some relief from the regret of not getting to tell you how much you meant to me buddy. I know you cared so much about all of the people in your life, but I hope that you knew everyone in your life cared about you too. I know your kind and thoughtful nature would have made a real difference in this world because you already changed my world forever. I can’t forget you Justin you’re my friend and I love you man.

Pae we shared so many memories. You were important to me this is a mistake. I wish we spent more time together bud I love you always. I miss you. 

I met Justin officially our senior year of highschool. We had been going to the same school together since 8th grade and never truly got to cross paths until that year. We had two classes together and one day we just started talking. Justin was so incredibly thoughtful and always was willing to listen. We talked for hours on hours over the most deepest/most random topics. He was always such a kind friend with such a broad mind and his humor was impeccable. He was there for me when my abuela passed and I couldn’t have been more appreciative. He helped me get my mind off of the moment and that’s all I could ask for. I’m really going to miss you. 

I met Justin at Bryn Mawr Elementary, but had lost touch until I met him again through a couple of friends when I was a junior at RHS. Justin was one of kind, he cared for everyone around him and showed love unconditionally. You were such a good friend, gave advice on anything, and had no judgment to come with it, may you Rest In Peace Justin Pae, you will forever be missed! 

I met Justin around my Sophomore year of High school, I always knew of him because we went to the same Middle school but it was a pleasure meeting such an amazing and caring guy. He would not be selfish at all and liked to give. We made a friendship that made rest of high school very fun. I last saw him at Applebee’s and he was chilling and enjoying life. I hope you are well rested and God bless your family.

I had been friends with Justin since elementary school, and to this day, I have never met anyone as selfless as him. No matter what he was going through, he was always willing to help others. My mother always said that he was her favorite friend of mine because whenever we were bored at my place, he would always ask if she needed help with anything around the house. Justin, you showed me how caring a person can truly be, and I wish that I could call you up right now for a late-night bike ride or another movie marathon like the good old days. I'm going to miss you man. 

There will never be anyone that could take my friend Justin's place. I will always remember the times in middle school where we would walk from Cope to Panera bread. The times we would record YouTube videos for fun, and the times were we would just sit down and have a heart to heart conversation. I will always miss this wonderful friend he was the prime example of what a good and genuine person is. I love you Justin

I miss you and I love you, Kuya Justin. Thank you for always playing with us. You will always be in our hearts. Say HI to Mama and Papa for me. Love you

For the rest of my life, I will never forget you. I miss and love you so much, Kuya Justin. Thank you for taking care of us.
