He moved to Redlands California in 1956 along with his wife Cora Lee Smith of 59 years and first born Freddie Smith. He was a member of Mentone Congregational Church, and at a very young age professed his hope in Christ.
He began working in construction for the Local Labor Union and after 25 years, he entered into retirement at the young age of 48. During his retirement he kept busy in his community, supporting his grandchildren’s activities, in his church and his hobby of recycling scrap materials.
On December 8, 2015 Lee Andrew Smith passed away from this life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manson and Ruth Smith, two brothers Russell Smith, Leon Smith and two sisters Juanita Reese and Dovie Banks.
Lee smith is survived by his wife Cora Lee Smith, Children Freddie Smith, Sylvia Dahlsten, Elwood Smith, Don Smith, Paula Estrada and Lisa Beans, sisters Lovie Smith, Synthia Reese, brothers Manson C. Smith Jr., Darryl Wyatt and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
