Leone was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wl. lt is there where she met her future

husband, George Kelly They attended the same Catholic high school. She

attended nursing schobl and became an RN. Leone and George married on Oct.

27th 1951. They moved to California first to Anaheim where they lived before

settling in Redlands in 1964. They had 5 children, M.ry, Michael, Chuck, Lynn and

Suzi. Leone was very active in their church, Sacred Heart. She was very active in

PT& Girl Scouts and also the school nurse for Sacred Heart School. She was also involved in running State Street Liquor the business she and George owned with

their business partners, George's sister and brother-in-law, until they retired.
