Leopoldo was born on May 1st, 1926 in Loreto, Perú. He was the oldest of eight children, and only one of his sisters is still alive. He moved to Lima and he went to the school La Merced. There, he was able to grow his passion for music. He loved classical music, especially Bethoven and Mozard.
He married his wife, Marina, and they had four children: Rosa, John, Maximo, and Cecilia. He has 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was a loving father and a caring man. He always helped people and gave his hand where it was needed.
He worked for social services for 21 years, then retired and moved to the United States in 2008. Before that, he enjoyed his retirement traveling to the USA and Peru, and spending time with his grandson, Paul. While in the USA, he joined The River Christian Reformed Church.
He went to heaven on July 5, 2022.
He was a loving father and excellent man. We will truly miss him. Rest in peace.
