Manuel "Manny" Martinez, 57 years old of Colton, California, passed away at Redlands Community Hospital on Wednesday, February 26, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Martinez and mother, Nellie Martinez. He is survived by his children, Jamie Gustavich, Timothy De Witt and Ruth Thomas, brothers, Juan, Luis, Willie, Greg and Pito Aguilar, also, sister, Mary Aguilar. Manny worked as a security guard for 23 years for the Colton School District and was very involved with their football team.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2014, 4-8 p.m. at Montecito Valley View Chapel, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 10, 2014, 11 a.m. at All Souls Mausoleum, followed by burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, both at 3510 E. Washington St., Colton, California.
