Hey Marilyn!  You're missed dearly down here, but I know that you're still around keeping an eye on everyone.  Love you Grammy and I'll miss you!!

I am so glad that I was able to tell you in words and in FB many times how your prayers, strength and faith got me through some days!...
For years and years through my sister and nieces I have watched you show unconditional love. 

I was thinking. How did we start texting in the first place...?
I remember... It was about 14 years ago. I colored my own hair and used a color that looked terrible and I didn't know how to fix... You guided me. 
And not very long after that I became part of the prayer warriors team you text. 
We prayed for college students, babies being born, sickness and strength in the love of family. 
I will keep your number on my phone. Just because. 
I will see you again soon... Say Hi to my grandpa... Enjoy dancing with Jesus... See you later. (We never said bye)...

Thirty plus years ago you came into my life and a short time later you became my mother-in-law. At the time I did not know what a blessing this would be. 

I want you to know that I would not be the person I am today if it was not for you and for Papa. You both taught me things that I will carry in my heart forever. 

I learned so many things from you throughout the years, but here are the ones I remember most and I try to live by; I learned how to trust in God and to focus on the good things in life. I learned that my testimony is with God and He is the only one I need to please. I learned how to be patient and understanding, and I learned how to love and be loved unconditionally. 

These lessons were invaluable and I instilled them into my mothering, and I know that my children have greatly benefitted from them. For this I thank you! 

I want to thank you for being a huge part of my children's lives and spending, nearly, every Sunday with them. Thank you for the unconditional love, the laughter, and the good times you had with them. My children are who they are, in part, because of you. The memories and unconditional love you gave them are priceless. 

I pray that your legacy will carry on through all of us and we will make you proud. 

Grammy, thank you for loving me unconditionally for this I am forever grateful. I love you with all my heart and I hope you knew that.

Dear Gram, I will miss you so much and I will miss all the little things you did for me. I will miss hearing your voice when I call and say Hi. Ill miss every Facebook comment that you made. I will miss how you could light the room up with your smile! I will deeply miss how you were the light of every party. And ill especially miss that you were my grandmother! Thank you, Marilyn, for always having a kind word to write to me, online, almost every day for the past 15 years.  You were such a caring and giving friend.  I have lots of crocheted dishcloths, snowflakes and granny squares to remind me of you. I cherish them, now, like never before.

Marilyn did my hair for many years up until her second bout with cancer. I was also in Tops with her for many years and enjoyed her company at our after meeting dinners. I've known Marilyn ever since I was little. I've known her since I started going to Pathway because she used to call me the escapist because I'd always find my way out of the classroom. She will be deeply missed.

I  met Marilyn a short time ago, she was funny and a very loving woman. I also fondly remember her father, Frank who bused me all over the RUSD area..

I met Marilyn many years ago at TOPS. I served as Co-Leader with her.. I remember her as always being cheerful, even when you knew she was in pain..Her passing was a shock...she is HOME but she will be missed..My prayers are with Bill & family..GOD Bless...Charlie Scott
